Feel Good Friday Quote #4

If everything in this World were positive, there would be no thorns on a rose, no mistakes, no failures, no calamities, no wars, no enemies and no death. Sadly, that’s not the case.

It’s important to focus on the positive aspects of life, and try to have a positive attitude at all times. Yet, it’s impossible to eliminate negativity.

Terror attacks in recent times, plane crashes and accidents and natural disasters like flooding in some parts of TamilNadu, India and UK are all examples of  negative happenings.

Just like every Cloud has a silver lining, each of these negative incidents have something to teach. The terror attacks have brought the world together as one to fight against terrorism, and the floods have brought out hope in humanity with people reaching out to rescue  and help each other. It has also brought an increased awareness and concern for the environment. Every accident teaches us to build something stronger and robust and encourages creativity and innovation.

Death is another negative aspect in life, and losing a loved one can be very painful, but not something that cannot be healed. Knowing that it is inevitable is what makes life all that more valuable, and teaches us to live to the fullest.

We need to accept negativity as an inevitable part of life and channelize it in a positive manner to develop and improve for the better.

Feel Good Friday Quote #3

You may be wondering why I am posting a Blog titled Friday Quote on a Saturday (or maybe even a Sunday, in some parts of the World).

Well, I don’t really have anything to say in my defence except that I missed posting it yesterday. Not because I forgot about it, but because I was a little busy with other things and ran out of enough time to post it before the end of the day.

After contemplating long and hard on if it would be better to just skip posting a Quote this week for the Feel Good Friday Series (I did post a Quote for the 3 Days 3 Quote Challenge instead, so it may not be that bad, would it? ), I decided to go ahead on post the Quote anyway. As they say, “Better Late than Never”, right?

Also, the Quote that I had planned on posting for the Week couldn’t have been more apt as it all about Time.

The Bad News is

Time Flies.

The Good News is

YOU are the PILOT.

I started the Feel Good Friday Quotes series some time back hoping that having a schedule would prompt me to be a little more regular. Why did I choose to post Quotes, among all possible options and choices? Because I thought posting inspiring Quotes on my Blog would inspire and encourage me to lead a better and positive life. I only post those Quotes which appeal to me.

I hope to learn a lesson from this week’s mistake and lack of proper planning. Hopefully, I do not take time for granted any more. *Fingers crossed* #Nobodylikestolose

Feel Good Friday Quotes

EmilysQuotes.Com-Competition with no one

Sometimes, it is necessary to stop what we are doing and see how far we have come and where we want to go. Life is too short to be lived for somebody else. In the end, all that matters is what YOU think about YOURSELF.

I plan to share some of my favorite quotes every Friday aimed at increasing positivity and confidence; to bring cheer and lighten up our moods after a hectic and stressful week.

I decided to start with this quote as this is the best reflection of my thougths and feelings as we are nearing the end of the Blogging 101 & Writing 101 Courses.

Even though I have been unable to complete all the assignments, I know I have tried my best and I definitely know I have learnt a lot in the last three weeks. Therefore, I am happy.
